Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

Scallops are wonderful sources of protein. This seafood is rich in zinc, potassium, B12 and other important micronutrients, making them a great addition to a healthy diet. This delicious dish can be served as an appetizer or as a low-carb meal!

  • 8 Wild-caught scallops
  • 8 Bacon strips, pasture-raised
  • 1 tbs Grass-fed butter
  • ½ tbs Pink salt
  • 2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tsp Red pepper
  • 8 Toothpicks

1. Preheat oven to 375°. Pat scallops dry with cloth or paper towel.

2. Individually wrap scallops with bacon, securing with toothpick.

3. Mix seasonings in a small dish to combine, then sprinkle both sides of scallops.

4. Place on heat-resistant tray and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until scallops have become translucent and tops are golden.
