Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

Not only are these chicken tenders a tasty treat for the entire family, they are gluten free and keto friendly (without the dipping sauce). These are crispy and quick, a great meal after a long day. Drop in the air fryer or oven and dinner is done. Serve with a salad or side vegetable for a complete dinner.

  • 1 lb Chicken tenders, boneless skinless
  • 1 lg Egg
  • 1 tbs Heavy cream
  • ½ cup Blanched almond flour
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • ½ tsp Sea salt and black pepper, each
  • ¼ tsp Garlic powder
  • Olive oil spray

Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce:

  • ½ cup Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup Honey
  • 3 tbs Mayonnaise
  • Salt, pepper to taste

1. Preheat air fryer to 400º.

2. Mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a bowl. Set aside.

3. In a shallow bowl, beat egg and heavy cream.

4. Using a cutting board, remove the tendon from the raw chicken tenders. Then dredge each chicken tender in the egg mixture.

5. Coat each tender in the almond flour mixture on all sides.

6. Place the tenders in the air fryer basket or on the air fryer sheet.

7. Spray olive oil spray over the chicken tenders.

8. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes, then turn each and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes until done in the center.

9. Serve with honey mustard dip and enjoy!
